Working at Walmart is hazardous to my health.
About a week ago I came home from work and my left foot was all swollen and sore. I thought that maybe I had just pulled something, even though for the life of me I can't remember doing ANYTHING to it. Now its a week later, and it's worse, not better. Honestly? I think I may have broken it, though I have no clue how! It's the top of my foot, almost right in the center, and it hurts like bloody blue blazes. I can still walk on it and all, but by the end of the day I'm about ready to knaw my ankle off. To make it worse, I have no insurance an no money, so I can't even go to get it x-rayed to find out if it really is broken or if I just did something really wierd to it. Sigh.
On the plus side, do to a really odd coincidence, I won 400 dollars in a survey lottery, and was able to pay off some bills. Also, I'm going to Boston next week. I bought the ticket and everything before I hurt myself, but now I'm staring to wonder if the Gods just don't want me to take this trip.
Other than that I really don't have much to add. My classes are going well, except for the math class. The teacher is hot, but he goes way too fast. He doesn't do a very good job of explaining things, and I'm really in trouble. The Russian is easy, as I took it for 5 years in high school and this is pretty much just a refresher course. My geology class is actually a lot of fun. Who would have thought that looking at rocks could be so cool?
Well, that's my life in a nutshell. Still no boyfriend or social life, but who needs those when I'm about to graduate with my AA and transfer over to WSU? If everything goes according to plan (crosses fingers) then I should be starting winter semester.
Things are starting to come together!
