One of my nieces worked for Lowe's all through her college and they were really good about scheduling her so that she could be in school. She even got a white collar professional type job with them after she graduated. Based on that, go apply. All the stores may not be as good, but they can't be as bad as Hell-mart.

And definitely apply around campus. The pay won't be great, but there are usually at least one or two jobs that are decent, you just have to find them. (For me it was the school cafeteria. The work sucked, but you could work as much as you wanted. For Allen, the DH, it was Women's Transit.)

As for the debt. . .you'll be just like the rest of us. And I promise, you do eventually pay it off. It's a major pain, but worth it.

Good thoughts and virtual hugs, Kelly.
