Grumble, Grumble!

Somehow, between laying down in bed last night and getting up this morning, I seem to have acquired a UTI.  Really, really annoying.

After I went to bed it kept feeling like I had to pee, but I couldn't.  Then, around 4am, I started bleeding, just spotting, really, but my period isn't set to start for another two weeks.  Grrrrr.  Now I feel generally miserable, like I still have to pee only I know I don't, and when I do pee, it hurts.  Stupid body!

I really don't want to go to work today, but you know, rent and stuff.  Kind of important.  I figure if the symptoms don't go away in a few days I'll head to doc-in-a-box and see if they can help.  Sigh. 

So how is everyone else on this Tuesday?

I've never had a UTI and I hope I never do because I don't if I could handle the embarrassment if an exam was required.

I hope things work out quickly.

Thanks, hon. I went to the doctor and they confirmed it was a bladder infection, so I got some antibiotics and some cranberry juice.

Usually with a UTI you just have to pee in a cup, but after the whole fiasco with my cervix and stuff, I really have no embarrassment anymore.
