Talked to my aunt yesterday, and my dad is doing good. Thank you, all of you, for sending good thoughts his and my family's way.  The past week has been pretty stressful, but I think it's starting to get better.

I don't know if my dad will be out of hospital in time for my uncle's funeral, but at least now we know, barring any complications, we don't have to worry about two funerals. 

Not much else happening on my end.  I've been so stressed and tired lately I'm trying to just get through the days and escaping reality with fanfic.  It really is a lifeline some days!  Had a surreal conversation with another of my aunts, on my mom's side, about writing a sequel to Soldier's Heart.  I didn't know whether to be flattered she is so keen on reading the sequel or utterly embarrassed that she wants to read more of my slash.  :) 

Also, this morning, I put the cereal in the fridge and the milk in the cupboard.  Yep, it's gonna be one of those days.

A sequel would be awesome, but yeah, I can imagine that would be a weird conversation to have with a relative... ;)

Thanks! He's still in ICU, but at least he's stable and doing better.

Yeah, I have every intention of doing a sequel, but it was really odd because I just kept thinking, "I'm talking about Holmes/Watson slash with my AUNT!"

I know! What's up with living on opposite sides of the country, huh?

He's doing better, though, stable. Hopefully he'll be out of ICU soon. Fingers crossed!
