Stupid people drive me nuts

Well, that was one of the stupidest "corrective trainings" I have ever heard of. Show up at Brown Parade Field with all four uniforms, pressed and clean, present them and go back. It took all of two minutes, and I've been up since 440 for nothing. Sheesh.
Oh, well. I guess there are stupider things they could have thought of, though I'm hard pressed to picture them.

Well, now that you're up anyway, you could use the time to work on more hobbitfic. ;-)

Pips, poking hard

When I was in basic training, someone in another platoon came down to the drill pad wearing a uniform incorrectly so the Drill Sgt would send them up and down the stairs coming up with crazy stuff for them to wear. Theyd have on Class A paints, shower shoes, winter pt jacket, brown t shirt. One of the times they had to have one boot and one sneaker. They did it for a hour.

I've never understood the benefit of punishing someone by making them get up early. Because the person doing the corrective training also has to be up that early.

Lol! That was my argument, and my Team Chief's! And I was half afraid when they told me I had to have corrective training that it would something similar to what that one guy at basic went through. I had a freind in Korea who got in trouble, and his punishment was to show up every hour, on the hour, in a different uniform, some simple, like pt, or bdus, but others mixed up and crazy. It lasted the whole weekend.
Crazy!
