Another - well - day...

Today was safety day. This means we got to sit through five hours of such -er- fascinating lectures as propper tire pressure and the importance of drip pans.
*shakes head in the vain attempt to regain some lost braincells*
After we broke for lunch, we went to a safety fair, and that was actually kind of cool. There was a guy doing acupuncture, and I managed to work up the nerve and ask him to do something for my depression. I ended up wandering around with a needle stuck in my head and chest for about 10 minutes. But it worked, there was no pain, and it was hilariouse to see people's reactions. I feel great now.
I got my friend to try it, and even though he was hesitant at first, he admitted that he had not felt so relaxed in a long long time.
There were several people too, who were getting it done. It was great, seeing all these people walking around with needles in their heads and hands and the back of their necks. We looked like robots in uniforms!

That sounds like fun, seeing all the people with needles everywhere I mean. I`m so glad it helped you. I`ve actually spent the evening with a woman who does "alternative medicine" like homeopathi and other things I can`t translate (foot zone therapy?), and it was really interesting talking to her.

Think you learned enough to try it on me when I come? LOL, just kidding.
Glad it made you feel better!

Glad the needles worked and sorry that you had to sit through a full day of lectures. What a way to make sure that people don't absorb the info!

In the Air National Guard we had a safety lecture (on a different topic each time) every drill weekend, but it's not hard to pay attention for twenty minutes...

You could get a plot bunny out of that! Pippin's eyes glazing over as, one night around the fire, Gimli regales the group with the details of Dwarvish mining techniques...

So acupuncture really helps? I was thinking of going to an acupuncturist myself. I'm not sure yet, though. Currently I've been seeing a homeophathist for almost a year now, but that doesn't help at all.

I will try it then, if I can find one in the neighbourhood. And I'm not the least bit scared of needles (my brother and I used to stick pins through our skin on our fingers to gross out our mother) We were strange kids :)

Well, I'm more afraid of things now than when I was little. I became more shy. Why? (And a funny fact: my brother is scared of spiders!)
