Well, that was one of the stupidest "corrective trainings" I have ever heard of. Show up at Brown Parade Field with all four uniforms, pressed and clean, present them and go back. It took all of two minutes, and I've been up since 440 for nothing. Sheesh.
Oh, well. I guess there are stupider things they could have thought of, though I'm hard pressed to picture them.

People think of love and their minds wander to grand tales, to knights in shining armor who run to the rescue of the maiden, and princessess with long, flowing hair. Seldom do thoughts of the little things creep into their musings, of the little jestures that actually make up the great love, and without which the great tale could never be told.
Little things such as giving up the last sip of a favored drink so that your sweetheart can enjoy the flavor. Or making certain that their scent lingers on your clothes by putting a little of their cologne or perfume on your shirt.
But above all, the most romantic gesture I have ever encountered came on a chill night in January, when my fiance and I were huddled on the bed, watching a movie and trying to stay warm. When I got up to grab us both a glass of something to drink and climbed back into bed, my feet were very cold.
Without a word he placed my feet on his leg.
"But they're cold!" I protested, and he just smiled at me and said, "I know, that's why I'm trying to warm them."
Has there ever been such a simple, more true, expression of love?
Darling, I love you and miss you, and wish you were here to warm my feet. Until then, I take solace in the knowledge that I am enjoying a great tale, with you waiting for me at the end.
