It's Saturday, which means my Friday. Thank God! I am so ready for this week to be over with.
In good news, my dad is out of hospital. Yay! Of course, it would been nice to have been told, as I thought he was still in ICU. Grrr. Progress with the aunts, though apparently not as much as we had hoped. Sigh. Oh, well. At least he's out and doing better. Hopefully he'll continue to get better.
We finally have the dates for England, so I'm just waiting for my money to come in, and then I'll be able to get the ticket. Once that's done, I'll be a lot happier. I just put in my request for the time off. Hopefully there won't be any snags. As of right now, we're set to go on Jan 23rd, arrive on the 24th, and leave on the 31st.
I've never been to England in winter, so I'm looking forward to it! Too bad it's not during Christmas, but still. It will be fun! I'm only a little bit worried about my family traveling together. Only a little bit. And I heartily apologize to all of England in advance.
Also, I'm going to hide my mom's bum-pack before we go. Just - no. I can't think of anything else that would scream tourist more loudly. None of them, my mom, brother or his fiance, have ever been outside the US before. This actually has me horrified when I think of what they might do. OK, no, let me rephrase. This has me horrified when I think what my brother will do.
Anyway, England, yay! Dad out of hospital, yay! Had a great Veteran's Day? Yay! My Friday, yay!
Work? Meh.
Oh, well. 4 out of 5 isn't bad, lol.
