To commemorate the first snowfall in my area yesterday, have a poll![Poll #1795783]

I think I might have a romantic view of it though, considering I live in south Texas where it doesn't snow, or rain, or pretty much anything. LOL, we had 86 degrees this week.

My favourite snow-related activity is watching the damn stuff thaw.

Lol! I can understand that! After a while, though, trust me, you get sick of it!

LOL! Damnit, that was actually going to be an option and I forgot to include it!

LOL! I like snow, but mostly because I work from home and don't have to go anywhere in it unless I absolutely want to!

Making snow ice cream! OMG! So delicious!

But I think snow could be improved. It should fall only on the ground, not the sidewalks, roads or driveways. It should stay looking pretty for a couple of days, and then vanish.

No, not melt (the we get mud and snud and slush), VANISH! No mess allowed.

Wouldn't that be perfect?

*laughs* I suppose if I never had to go out in it I wouldn't mind it quite so much. ;)

I've never had snow ice cream! It sounds really good, though!

I agree about the snow vanishing! It's lovely when it's falling, and when it's still fresh on the ground. After about the 3rd day, though, it should be gone!

Snow ice cream: 3 cups of fresh clean snow, NOT packed down; 1 can of sweetened condensed milk; 1 tsp. vanilla. Stir together until well mixed. Eat right away-- does not keep well.

(With 3 cups snow, you end up with about 2 cups ice cream).
