I'm still alive!

I'm still alive!  Posting from Scotland tonight, which is why I actually have internet.  The apartment in London doesn't have wifi, and we've been out doing touristy stuff all day, so I only get a few minutes to try and wrestle with the connection., It's just not worth it. I haven';t checked LJ the whole time I've been here.  I am going to be so backlogged! 

Anyway, just wanted to drop in a note and say I'm enjoying my trip immensely, though it would be better without the family. Seriously, I've had one full night of sleep, since I'm sharing a room with my mom and she snores sooooo loud.  Tonight I'm sharing with my sister, so here's hoping I sleep better!

I had a wonderful day with Nodbear on Wednesday. We went to the National Archive and had a great day.  Thank you for showing me everything, and it was so much fun!

OK, I'm off for now.  I doubt I'll post again before I head back, so take care all!

My sister snores, so I always make sure I have earplugs whenever we have to share a room. Saves my sanity, and probably her life too. ;)

Yay! So glad you're having a good time, though I do hope you find a solution for the sleeping issues - take pictures!

Hahaha! Glad I'm not the only one with family that snores. I tried plugging cotton in my ears and a pillow over my head, but nothing blocks out the sound. It's terrible!

I think it's pretty much a situation of just suffering through. But I only have one more night, and then I can sleep in my own bed! As much as I'm loving it over here, I am ready to head home.
