SyFy has a game show called Total Blackout. It is one of the most hilarious shows I've seen in a long time.  The people are given challenges to perform in total darkness, such as identifying items by smell or touch.  The items are harmless, like a brush, an octopus, a stinky shoe.  But the people are so terrified of what it might be that they're freaking themselves out.

I would like to think I would be cool, calm and collected, but I think we all know I would be screeching like a little girl and waving my arms around as I do so.  Just like a lot of the contestants! 

What makes it even funnier is that the people are totally diverse. They've had an acrobat, a sheriff, an exterminator.  They've had couples, both gay and straight, a mother and son, and twin sisters.  It's just a half hour long, but it's one of those shows I would totally watch all night long. 

If anyone is looking for a fun, funny game show, this is something to look into.  Hilarious!

I've seen a few episodes. You're right, we don't know how we'd react in a similar situation!

I don't feel bad about laughing at the contestants, because most of them seem to be laughing at themselves. Also, I think I would probably be screaming in those situations, too!
