Please don't be miserable, I know life is really down at the moment, but try to focus on what good things there are as well. I bet if you looked you might find that there are people on the team that like you, even if they don't show it as often as they could, and try not to get down about the people that don't, their loss if you ask me ^_^
It's pretty bad that they're deploying you right before Christmas, but that's a long way off yet, things might change.
Not sure what to suggest about the computer, except standing well back when the self destruction takes place (That sounds like it's gonna be nasty)
