Dear cats,

The next time you feel the urge to stand outside my bedroom door and yowl and jiggle the door open at 5am on my day off, I will lock your asses in the kennel faster than you can start purring!  Also, please to note that doing this five or six times between 5am and 930am does not lend you to my good graces, and there will be no canned food in the forseeable future.

Cute, yes, but not even the large eyes of innocence will save them if they do something like that again.

Ugh. My cats do that too! Wake me up at freaking 5:00am every morning for food. And after I crawl back into bed (having fed them while sleep walking), Yuri wants to go out. Must get back up and let Yuri out. Then, 30 mins later the alarm goes off. :(

I don't know how this started. They used to all wait until 6:00, when I was officially supposed to be up.

I think it's a universal cat thing. They start off so innocent and sweet, and wait until it's time for you to get up before being all annoying. Then, once they've lured you into a false sense of comfort, they let you have it! And it's not even like they're hungry, I feed them a cup of dry food before I go to bed, so they still have plenty left in their dish when I get up. They just want mommy to come play, sigh.
Kennels, you little monsters, kennels!
