Pretty!

Went to bed last night with it freezing rain outside. Woke up this morning to this:

That first image is my poor little car, burried beneath the snow.  I guess it started snowing around 4:30 this morning and hasn't stopped.  Woohoo!  I hate the cold, but I love snow, and it's been YEARS since I've seen any like this.  I love it!

It's so amazing! We don't normally get snow, let alone all this, but every three or four years Canada decides to be generous and lend us some. It's still snowing, and I love it!

The last time it snowed like this was three days after Christmas and I had already returned to AZ. I think this is the first real snowfall I've seen in close to seven or eight years. I love it! I even went for a walk, though, I have to say, very cold!

Wow!

The young hobbits are crossing their fingers tonight. We have *yet*another* forecast for perhaps-snow, maybe 1-2" where we are (more on the surrounding hills), but the last few times the forecast has read that way we've had only rain upon wakening.

According to our forecast we were only supposed to get one to two inches. Well, I think there's at least a foot out there now. I'm almost hoping for more, because I haven't seen snow like this in ages!

That's usually how it is here. We've already lost most of it, since it hit 40F yesterday, and will probably do the same today. Darn it! I wanted it to last a bit longer! It's so pretty, and we almost never get snow!
