Date: 2009-06-04 02:50 pm (UTC)I've found that pressing my thumbs into the orbital bones around my eyes (under the ridge of bone where my eyebrows reach my nose) as hard as I can for as long as I can stand it and then releasing can make a huge difference. I tend to repeat 3 to 6 times. If that doesn't help, I pinch that spot on my hand between my thumb and first finger meet. (Trace the bones back into your palm and find that vee where your thumb meets your index finger, move forward one fingertip and SQUEEZE hard.)
Both options hurt like whoa if you've done them right but when you release (at least for me) most if not all of the headache magically goes with it.
I hope it helps. It surely can't hurt. Feel better darling!
