piploverWent into work today, planning on only being there for a half day, but was promptly told "Get thee gone!!!!" with emphatic finger pointing. Apparently I sound like I have the plague.
Went to the VA to get checked out, since the last four times I called no one returned my call. Was promptly told, again, "Get thee gone!" Apparently they don't want the plague, either, even though it's kind of their JOB to help.
Kind of pissed about that. I am now waiting for the doc-in-a-box to call so I can have them find out if it's bronchitis or something worse. Also, to hopefully get a note for work so I don't get another point. I used the last of my upt today, but that's all right as I will be getting pto starting next month. I just can't go home early or be late.
Still, I think them making the sign of the cross at me was a bit much. :0)
