I am not a mechanic. I never wanted to be a mechanic. I did not join the Army to be a mechanic. Why, therefore, are they making me do mechanic things?
1) Screw on a new mirror for the hummer. I can do that. I think.
2)Screw in all new bolts for the troop seats. I just spent over an hour working on that and I think I finished three of them. Laugh if you want, but I now know how to use vicegrips. Not very well, but I know the basic principle now.
3)Change a seat. (!!!)
4)Change the oil in all the tire hub thingies and then put the tires back on. (they're kidding, right?)
5)Clean up all the mess around said tire hub thingies. ( I can do this one. Just point me in the right direction!)
6)Flush the radiator. (!!!??? What the hell does a radiator do anyway besides explode in your face if you open the cap after driving? And the how the hell do you flush one?)
That's all of the list that I can remember at the moment, though I'm sure there was more. And all this is supposed to be done by the end of the day.
*whimper*
Current Mood: frustrated
