Psycho kitty

Apparently my cat, Colonel, is a bit more high strung than I had imagined. I turned the bathtub on, went out for like, less than a minute, and when I came back into the bathroom, both Colonel and Rodney went crazy.
I mean, CRAZY!!
Colonel flattened himself on the ground while trying to scramble backword and Rodney was darting about like a crazy thing, and then Colonel took a literal flying leap towards the bathtub - which, by the way, had been running for about two minutes - and all I could think was, oh this can't end well.  But apparently my cat is also a ninja, becuase he didn't even touch the water.  He rebounded off the side of the wall, went scrambling some more on the tiles, and then disapeared under the bed.  This all took about 10 seconds, and I'm left wondering, what the hell?  When I got out of the shower neither of the cats was waiting for me, which in itself is unusual, and after I got dressed and went into the living room, I found Rodney playing guard to Colonel hiding under the couch.
Now Colonel is wandering around with a dazed expression, and I have to wonder - what the hell is up with that? 
Pyscho ninja kitties.  They should have their own cartoon!
