Hello, all. I have had 4 cups of tea within 3 hours. Is that too much? Usually caffeine makes me sleepy, but it seems to actually have perked me up this morning.
I got a lot of tea for Christmas! My mom gave me a tin of Bentley's green tea collection. So many awesome flavors, I just want to drink them all. Hence the 4 cups of tea... so far. :) I also got a really nice tea mug. It's now my favorite. It's just the right size, the perfect color, and I love it to bits.
I've been spending a lot of time with my family over the holidays. My brother got me hooked on Plants Vs Zombies. Why? Why did he do that? I had to buy the stupid game and am hopelessly addicted. I spent 4 hours the other night playing it!
I love them my family, but I think I'm about familied out. Especially since we'll be shoehorned together while we're in England.
OMG, 3 weeks to go! I'm getting so excited! The flight we have booked is so perfect. We leave here at 15:00 from our little dinky airport and fly to Seattle. We only have a few hours layover, and then we fly out on British Airways (\0/) at 18:00. We arrive at Heathrow around 11, so we have most of Sunday to get settled and see a bit of the sites. We'll be staying in a hotel, so as not to overwhelm my sister and her flatmates. Also, one bathroom for 7 people? I don't think so. This was we all have a little bit of space.
Monday is my sister's graduation, so we're not really going to do anything touristy, but after that all bets are off.
There's a tentative plan to go to Paris for the day, go to Bath for a day and also see Stonehenge, and we are also looking into staying overnight in Scotland at Loch Ness. I know it's a lot, but my family has never been to England and, well, they don't travel very often, so they may not ever make it back. I think they're trying to cram in as much as humanly possible.
So, yeah, getting excited! I bought a new carry-on. It cost $70, but it's an awesome little suitcase, and will be perfect for any little short trips. Plus, the quality is really good, and it was half off. I find it rather mind blowing that, possibly for the first time ever, I'll be the one with the money this trip. Thank God for being able to cash in my stocks!
I'm already planning what to pack, and have been trying to hit the gym at least 3 times a week. I'm also bringing my cane this time, a full bottle of Hydrocodone, and my knee brace. I'm going to be prepared this time!
Not much else happening on my end. Work is work, and I'm still excited about the new Sherlock. I know Hound will be amazing, and I'm trying not to be too worried about the last ep. Considering it was written by the guy who wrote Blind Banker, though, that's rather hard. Fingers crossed!
Anyway, I'll be in England in a few weeks! Squeee!
