Arrggh!

Gold's Gym has the crappiest customer service I have ever experienced.  Been charged two months now for the wrong amount, and the person who was "helping" me was about as helpful as a stick in the eye.  So going to cancel my contract with them and looking into another gym.

I may hate the company I work for, but I can tell you this, at least they try to help the customers.  The company itself may be evil and I can't wait to leave them, but for the most part their customer service is above board.  So I know when I get crappy service. I should have asked to speak to his manager but I was too pissed off.

Arrrggghhh!

And dad is back in the hospital, so I'm stressed about that and everything else that's going on.  I think I'm just going to spend today watching movies, maybe doing a little shopping, and basically saying "fuck you" to the real world.

Because of my no good, very bad day.  Hobbits make everything better.

Pippin was having a bad day.  He didn't realize it was a bad day until halfway through his guard shift, when he realized he had lost his new button that Merry had gifted him with.  He knew if an inspection took place he would be looked down on, and spent the rest of his shift self-conscious and slightly wary.

Luckily, no one seemed to notice, and after he was free he ran as fast as he could through the halls to his room, hoping to find the button abandoned on the floor or in a hidden crevice.   The only things he found, though, were a slightly moldy bone and a lot of dust.

Dejectedly he walked slowly to the kitchen, hoping one of the cooks would take pity on him and have a bit of chocolate he could have.  When he arrived, though, the kitchen was bustling and he was immediately shooed away after one of the new chefs almost tripped over him.

Sighing, Pippin rubbed his aching knee and made his way back to his room.  It was barely sunset, but already he was exhausted, and the thought of meeting up with anyone who might wish to speak with him sent a shudder down his back.  As soon as his door closed he wiggled out of his uniform and trousers until he was in only his undergarments.  He grabbed his thick quilt and burrowed under his bed, wrapping himself up until only his curls were visible.

He didn't know how long he lied there when he felt an insistent tug on his blanket.

"Budge over," Merry whispered.

Pippin wiggled about until he had freed up enough room for Merry to curl up next to him.  His cousin's strong arms hugged him carefully, but neither of them spoke for a long time.

"I had a bad day," Pippin finally mumbled, bringing the blanket up over his head, as though for extra protection against the world outside.

"That's all right," Merry whispered softly.  "Tomorrow will be better."

When Legolas came to find them several hours later, as both had missed dinner, he said nothing at the huddled mass under the bed, but instead grabbed the big pillows which had been neglected and crawled in after them.  There wasn't enough blanket for all of them, but none of them seemed to mind.
