Quick update
Oct. 13th, 2013 06:32 pmJust wanted to do a quick update. My brother and I are flying out tomorrow. We found two tickets about $500 cheaper than we would have got if we left today. So our flight leaves at 6am, and then we should get to Florida at around 5:40. A quick drive to my Aunt's and then we'll be taken to my dad.
They're moving my dad to a different hospital either tomorrow or Tuesday. As of right now, he's pretty weak, and the prognosis isn't good. So I'm hoping against hope that he pulls through, but I'm planning for a funeral at the same time.
It sucks.
So. Everything is mostly packed, electronics charged, and I'm all set to be up at 3:50 in order to be at the airport by 5.
I hope everyone takes care this week, and know I am so very, very grateful for all the prayers and good thoughts.
