Went to the doctor's today to get labs done. I hate needles, so of course they gave me the guy in training. It wouldn't normally bother me, because I know they need to get experience somehow, but he popped the vein and they ended up jiggling the needle around trying to get it to work. Ouch!

But at least that is done and over with, and I am getting a new doctor, yay!  I hope this new one won't treat me like I'm three. Or an idiot.

So, to celebrate, I treated myself to Burger King. Yes, I know it's bad for me, and was somethign I didn't need, but OMG, it tasted good.  Now I'm going to shower and get ready to be back at work.  One of the things I love about working from home is that I can shower on my lunch break and just relax.

Hope you are all having a good Friday!

Damn doctors. I always get the guy in training as well. Ugh. At any rate, I'm sending good vibes your way. And Burger King may be bad for you, but we all deserve a little treat once in a while. :)

Thanks, hon! I really like Burger King, lol, so it was a nice way to end the doctor visit.

How are you holding up? I'll be sending good thoughts your way as well. *Hugs*

It's a good thing when one has a doctor who treats you like you have a brain. I've been mostly lucky for the last few years on that front. Not, though, with my attempt at seeing a rheumatologist, who looked at me for all of three minutes and then dismissed me with "you're too young to have any joint problems and I don't see anything major right now". Uh-huh. My medical history wasn't apparently relevent.

Ah, don't worry about comfort food occasionally - I made apple cobbler tonight and my mom, who is visiting, made arroz con pollo. Yum.
