Still alive

You know the problem with chronic pain?  When you go for a long stretch of time without the pain, you forget just how much it hurts when it comes back to bite you in the ass. 

On the other hand, it was pouring rain this morning, and is wonderfully cool and cloudy outside. It finally really feels like fall, yay! 
 
Writing-wise, the muse is still being silent, the bitch.  Haven't really been able to write anything lately.  The curser mocks me, blinking at me happily while I try to pummel my brain to form the words that just don't want to come. Damnit, Muse, get with it! 

Anyway, I've had Chinese, and now a new book to read.  Also, I have been devouring all the Cabin Pressure fics I can get, and my love for the Avengers' Captain America/Tony Stark pairing has been keeping me happily entertained.

Honestly, I don't know what I would do without fanfic. It's my happy place.

I feel your inactive muse's pain. I have stuff due at the end of the month that is currently Just Not Happening. *headdesk* I also feel the whole physical chronic pain thing. Huge hugs in your direction, my dear. Fanfic is such a salve and a balm for one's pains of varying sorts.

I love the rain we just got - the air is clear and I had to get sweaters out for the first time in months.

I understand the pain thing, all too well. I had three months without the severe joint pain and it was nice. At least I found a decent anti-inflammatory. Sigh...

I was! That's the truly maddening thing! I know what I want to say, but when I sit down to start, the curser just blinks at me mockingly. I can't get the words out. It's like the part of me where the words come from is hollow. Even though I know just what I want to do with that, it's so damn frustrating.

I'll try again this weekend, and see if I can get started. Maybe that's the hard part, and once I actually force myself not to delete everything I can keep going .
