piploverGood day to you all! I hope everyone is surviving the craziness of the season.
I was terribly grumpy the last few days, and realized why when I got Surprise! period. Oh, well. At least it's out of the way before Christmas.
Work is... work. Although they've changed their minds and are not going to rearange schedules again this year. Thank God! So I am not having to work a whole shift on Christmas, just a few hours. Which I have no problem with. I just don't like working an entire shift. So I'll probably work 2 or 3 hours, and then spend the rest of the day with family. Yay! And I get Boxing Day off, so I'm happy about that, too.
Got some little things for my mom's stocking. A pug ornament, some hot chocolate, some marbles. She loves marbles, and I found some gorgeous ones. Plus a couple of bracelets by a local artist that I saw her admiring the other day.
Even though we said we weren't going to exchange presents this years, I think if it fits in the stocking, it doesn't count.
Woke up this morning with my left eye feeling bruised. There's no swelling or anything, it's not pink or looking infected. I'm not sure what happened. Maybe I hit myself in the eye while I slept? Anyway, I hope it goes away soon, but if not I'll have to go to doc in a box. Still, could be worse.
Not much else happening. Getting really excited about England! The more I think about it, the more excited I become. Also, I get to wear my Sherlock coat, hahah.

Date: 2011-12-14 04:02 pm (UTC)I'm really looking forward to seeing you, though I'm not sure what day. Things are bit complicated since the whole family is going. What day works best for you? We'll be there from the 22nd to the 31st. The 23rd is my sister's graduation, so I can't do anything then, and we were talking about going to Scotland for 3 days, but I don't know what days. As soon as I get more information, I'll let you know.
