Happy Star Wars day!

I hope you're all having a good day. I went and saw Avengers last night at the midnight showing. It was epic! All screens in the theater were showing it, and the place was pretty much full. It was amazing seeing all the geeks running wild, lol. I didn't get to bed until about 3:30, but so worth it!
I'm going to see it again in about an hour with another friend, and then out to dinner.
Things have been going all right. I applied to have my car refinanced so the interest rate will go from an astounding, OMG-are-you-kidding 27% to 11%. Which, although still high, is waaaayyyyy more reasonable. It will also lower my payment by about $40, so every bit helps. I just have to wait for the current loan company to release it to the bank and I'm good!
All in all, the past 3 days have been... well, I was going to say good, but they've been a bit of a mixed bag. My mom's best friend's dad passed away yesterday. It wasn't unexpected, as he had dementia and was steadily going downhill the past few months. I'm thankful his suffering is over, but I feel bad for his family. They're doing all right, but still.
Nothing else to report, so I hope you're all doing well. Take care, and, as the subject line says, May the 4th be with you!
