The Dilemma
May. 7th, 2013 07:54 pmSo.... Here's the situation. I've taken Friday the 17th off work so I can go the midnight premier of the new Star Trek movie. The problem? Apparently the movie is opening on the 16th. Who the hell premiers a movie on a Thursday?
Anyway. My dilemma is this. Do I say to hell with it and go to the premier at midnight and just suffer through work the next day on 3 hours of sleep? Or do I be a grown up and just wait until Thursday night to go see it.
I think I'm talking myself into going Wednesday night, since I love openings. I love the atmosphere, the craziness, the energy that a group of people silly enough to stay up until midnight on a working night to see a movie brings. And I also really want to see the movie.
I think this calls for a poll. [Poll #1912590]

Growing up? Highly over-rated (says your 60-year-old friend). I'm not going there -- nor should you!
