Well, apparently the Gods have decided that my trial is not yet over with. The cancer is back, but due to the medicine I am on for my foot, which has an Asprin base and thins the blood, they could not do the biopsy on me. So once more I am waiting on the eve of battle, until the 29th, when I get to have a biopsy and find out if I need surgury. I wish that this was all over with.
Now I have to find a way to break this to my fiance, who I know is going to take it hard. He's been with me through all of this, and having him so far away is going to be really hard.
But it is days like this that I thank the heavens above that I am in the Army, because they pay for all my medical. I don't even want to think about how much my treatment would cost outside.
Thank you all for your support and good hobbity thoughts. Could anyone recomend a really good, not depressing hobbit story for me? I don't want to cry anymore, and I am sick of feeling sorry for myself. I want a really good laugh so I can look this thing in the face and say, loud and clear, "Fuck you!"

What a shame you have to wait again! But the 29th will be here soon, and then you'll have all the facts you need.

For non-depressing hobbity stories, may I suggest my own "Reflections of the Past" (tweenaged Frodo, a puppy, and a ranger coming for a visit... can't get much fluffier and non-angsty than that!) or "Reunion in Minas Tirith" (Faramir and the hobbits, my first attempt at a humor fic).

Thanks so much for the recomnendations, I will read them all tonight. I doubt I will get much sleep, but maybe if I laugh myself silly I will finally get there. That and few beers maybe. Lol. Grin.
