Bra shopping nightmare...

That's right. For all my male readers, feel free to skip, because this talks about bras and the horrors of trying to find one.
For any female out there who has ever worn a strapless bra, I think you can feel my pain. My bridesmaid dress would of course lace up the back, revealing whatever I wear to all the world, and of course its strapless, too. Beautiful, yes, a pain in the butt? Yes. Because I had to spend an hour today going from one store to the next, not only trying to find a bra that would lift me up so I can actually fill out the bodice on the dress, but not be seen from the back as well. And everytime I put on a strapless bra, I have nightmares of it slipping down at an inoportune moment and - well, you get the picture.
My mom was the one who took me shopping, and we finally found what we needed in the Bon Marche. 45 dollars for a bra. Not just any bra, however, but one of those sinch up the back, corset type of bras. It goes down far enough in the back that it can't really be seen, and lifts me enough so that I actually have a chest in the dress. I think I must have tried on at least 30 before we found it.
I'm happy, though, because now I am almost all ready for my sister's wedding, and I can't wait. She's going to look lovely, and I'll at least be able to do some justice to the dress she wanted to see me in. I just wish that bras didn't have to be so damn hard to find.
