A little chilling...

I just talked to my mom today, and she told me something a little chilling. One of her oldest friends is dying of cancer, in the hospital since Christmas, and in and out of conciousness.
Although I have never met this woman, my mom told me that she has been haveing a recurring dream.
My aunt, who is staying with her, was asked by a nurse if she knew anyone in the service, and my aunt said, "Yes, my niece, Kelly.
The nurse said, "Yes, that's who she keeps talking about!"
Apparrently, this wonderful lady has been having a continuous dream about me, and about a helicoptor coming to rescue me. She is adament about the fact that I am all right, but that the helicoptor is going to rescue me. My mom said that she has been talking about me whenever she is awake, and keeps insisting that the helicoptor will rescue me and I will be all right.
Since we are supposedly deploying sometime this summer, I find this a bit chilling. I have never met this woman, yet she has been friends with my mom and Aunt since they were in high school. I just hope that she isn't loosing sleep because of me.
But now, if I find myself in such a situation, I know I will be all right. I just pray that Jill will understand that I got the message, and then maybe her dreams will stop.

That is creepy. Gives me chills, too. You be sure to be careful! I hope you're never in the situation your mom's friend keeps talking about. If you are, I hope her premonition is true. I'm also sorry to hear your mom's friend is dying. That's hard, especially around the holidays.

That *is* chilling. I suppose that it is comforting that you are all right though.

It is so awful about your mom's friend, but at least she is not alone, she has friends around her.

Brrr.. that *is* a chilling experience. I'll certainly be praying that you will be all right and safe! But remember that even true dreams sometimes use symbolism, and it might be some other kind of danger you will be rescued from. *Whew!* Be Safe!

It sounds like you represent an "anxiety symbol" for this woman. Not you personally, but you as in a face she can connect to an anxiety. Let us hope Jung is correct on this one.

Oh, that sounds chilling indeed. Let`s hope her dreams does not come true and that you have to be rescued from a helicopter. I hope your mum`s friend will be all right. I`ll have her and you in my prayers.
