LOL! I wondered, too! My first thought was something else and then I read the clarification and thought "oh, thank goodness!" :-) I know, I know, it's late. Cool tattoo, though. Is that the eye of Isis and a lotus flower? What's the interpretation, do you know? Of course you know; do tell!

Yes, it is the Eye of Horus and a lotus blossom. The Eye of Horus is a protective symble, and the lotus blossom represents hope. This way, I'll never lose hope again, and the Gods shall always keep me in their sights.

Thanks! I told the artist what I wanted, and he designed it. It only took about an hour to get, and he did a great job! I love it!

Snicker, snort! Yeah, its a crappy angle. But trust me, that's my shoulder, with me pulling down my tank top strap so my mom could take the picture. It was only after I posted it that I saw how closely it resembled something else, lol!
