piploverNot much happening with me lately. I went to the Walmart orientation yesterday. Wow! I'm actually back at work. It is really weird. After being in the military for over three years, to go to work wearing regular clothes and only have to worry about putting stuff away. I don't even have to worry about customers because the store opens Jan 25th.
I'm actually looking forward to steady work. Its part time, from 5pm to 10pm, which is perfect. When college starts, my first class is at 650 in the morning, then my second at 8. That means I get done about 9 and have the rest of the day to do homework and take a nap. On Thursday I have chem lab, but that's only for a few hours, and I will still get done in time to take a nap. Plus, I have Friday's off of school, and so far, Sat and Sun off or work. So I'm doing pretty good, lol!
Helped my mom decorate both her Christmas trees today, which was fun. And picked up the Barenaked Ladies Christmas cd.
Other than that, just played with the kittens today, and boy, were they on a rampage. Up on the counter, running behind the tree, yowling while I'm in the shower. Now they are being cute and sweet, sleeping in front of the fire. Sigh.
It has been really cold over here. 20 F during the day, and into the teens at night. I wish it would snow. If it is determined to be this cold, the least it could do is snow, lol!
Anyway, that's about all. My life has been pretty boring the past few weeks. Besides the depression, which has faded once more. I'm feeling a lot better, and my medication is helping again.
So, here's hoping everyone has a wonderful weekend, and if it's cold where you are at, you get to stay warm and cozy.
