Have felt horribly wretched the past week. I thought at first it was the heat, since it was about a steady 112F here. But now the temp has dropped down to a lovely 80 and I still feel aweful. My back aches, my stomach hurts, I have a terrible headache, no energy, and have felt dizzy since Thursday. No fever, though, and not even close to my period.
I wish I had health insurance, becuase the only thing I can think it might be is a kidney infection, and means a trip to the doctor. Sigh. A trip I really can't afford. Damnit.
Anyway, this is just me bitching and moaning. Pay no mind.

Speaking from experience, that sure does sound like a kidney infection. How absolutely miserable. But you have got to bite the bullet and see the doctor - otherwise it could drag out for weeks. *hugs you carefully*

Well I went, and they said it wasn't a kidney infection, but a viral infection that apparently has been going around. They gave me some meds, so hopefully I'll feel better soon.

Went today and got some meds. Apparently, not a kidney infection, just a nasty viral one. Sigh.

Are you sure you are staying hydrated enough, dear? Try drinking lots of water and juice, and see if it helps.

I thought I had been, but the doctor told me to drink more fluids and gave me some meds. I'll probably be knocked out for a while, but that's all right so long as I feel better.

I am feeling a bit better. It turns out it was the stomach flu. I don't mind at all about the grumbling, lol, you should hear me. I do get free health care from the VA for service related problems, such as my back, my knee, my asthma, and my insomnia and depression. Anything else, though, and I'm on my own. Sigh.
