Hmmm, the hightlights of my shift: no one told us the building we were pulling shift in was haunted, so when doors started opening by themselves and lights went on and off by themselves, we were a little creeped.
Got chased by a wild-pig like creature called a havelina. That was interesting. Scared the crap out of both me and my sgt, I haven't seen him run like that before.
Other than that, watched a lot of movies, saw some ghostly shadows out for the corner of my eyes, and now I am so tired,as I only got about a half hour of sleep since yesterday morning, that my eyes won't focus. Sorry if this is hard to read, I really can't see what I am writing! Lol.
I'm gonna get some sleep.
Hugs.

I found a picture book once of the Three Javelinas and the big bad coyote, I think it was...

I am alarmed.

Hope you feel rested soon!

Hmm, chased by a wild pig-like creature. That is mildly disturbing. I think I need to go find a picture of a havelina now.

If you go to google.com and look up javelina they show pictures of cute, little piggy things. Go to Javelinahunter, and that has a better picture of what they look like around here. We don't get the cute type, unfortunatley. We get the kind with tusks. Sigh.

Aren't Havelinas really rodents? I kind of equate them to the ROUSes from The Princess Bride. We always wondered what kind of medal we'd get if we killed one with our E-Tool on FTX. LOL.

I'll get to experience that joy again in a few months.

Lol! I think that you should get the ridder-of-fowl-vermin award, to go along with the thank-you-for-putting-your-butt-on-the-line award.
Of course, I would probably do what I did last time and run screaming away from the little monster, purely in a strategic distraction, of course, and let someone else kill it!
And your absolutely right, they are like the ROUSes! I never thought of that!
Are you joining our happy little family here on base? *strangled coughing that sounds suspiciously like "run away!"*

I'm waiting on a class date, but I'll be there to reclass to 97E. I was there for three months in 2002 for IET. I liked it, but what I'm really waiting for is DLI.
