This month rocks!

I am honestly a little scared by how well this month is going.  I mean, it's not that I'm not grateful as hell, because I am!  But, honestly, it seems like all my wishes are coming true at once, and - I don't know, I guess I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop?  I'm not used to so many good things happening to me.  

First I got a new job, which seems awesome and fun, and the people are great.  Then I got asked on a date by a hot young thing, which in itself would have made my month.  In three days I have my graduation ceremony and get to walk with my graduating class.   And just now I got my last unemployment check and it had an extra hundred on it.  O_o  Seriously, I'm waiting for the ninjas to jump out or something.  

May?  Is now officially my favorite month!

Ahhh, thanks! It would be nice to have the rest of the year go as well as this month. I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop, but I think that's just conditioning, lol.

I've usually heard it said that April showers bring may flowers - you know that whole good-arises-from-bad idea.

Though, since my usual response is "Yes and Mayflowers bring Pilgrims, yellow fever and imperialism."

Which may kill the joy for some people, but just makes it all the funnier for me.
