Still employed!

I'm still alive, still employed, and still fighting the headache. However! I think I'm over the worst of it. I didn't so much want to rip my head off as just bang it against a wall a few times. A definite improvement.

I was given a 1.5 points for calling in sick, which brings me up to 3. If I get one more, I'm done. So I just have to be really, really, really careful.

Sorry you've been having such a bad time lately. Hope you manage to get that headache under control soon - you know it was probably triggered by stress in the new job! Hopefully, that will ease off.

Thanks, hon, I'm feeling a lot better today. Although, after the day I've been having, I'm not sure how long that will last, lol. How are you doing? Are things a bit better?

You and me, both. It would make sense if a person was calling in every week or something like that, but to dock someone when they are really sick? I just don't get it. I'm grateful for the work and the money, but that doesn't mean I love it. Sigh.
