Soooo.... Trying not to freak myself out by reading stuff on the internet.  One of the things the doctor said I might have is Helicobacter pylori  otherwise known as  H. pylori. Apparently this is pretty common in soldiers who served in Asia, and doesn't usually cause problems.  In fact, a person can be pretty much symptom free.  And then you get hit with ulcers and stomach cancer.  0_o

I really need to stop reading that kind of thing.  Bad, Piplover!

Anyone have any happy thoughts to send my way?  Funny pictures?  Holmes h/c?  I'm currently obsessed with Sherlock Holmes.

Anything, pretty much, to keep me from trolling around and finding more things to point to and go, "I have one of those symptoms!"

Yes, I know I'm being silly.  I wish the doctors would find out what was wrong with me so I could just get it over with.  Sigh.

Have you found "watson's woes" yet? Or "mere appendix"? Or, if you're very brave, the sherlock kink meme?

I do like Watson's Woes, although I admit I do so love it when Holmes is the one who is injured or sick. I keep dipping my toe into the kind meme and then darting out again, afraid of what I'll find. And I love Mere Appendix, as well as your stories. I am eagerly following your current one now. Thank you for the suggestions.

You might like "Ability, Neutralized" at the meme. http://sherlockkink.livejournal.com/1594.html?thread=5614138#t5614138

Lots of Sherlock whacking.

Has gone through the hurt part now and reached the comfort, which is the payoff, and while she may have a bit more to go, she's pretty reliable.

How are you with the recent movie?

Ohhh, thank you! That was lovely, I can't wait until she finishes it.

I really enjoyed the new movie. I was a bit hesitant about RDJ as Holmes, but I really liked him. Also, Jude Law as Watson was just amazing, he did a superb job!

The only thing I didn't really like was Irene Adler. I think it was a shame they were trying to make her a love interest of Holmes, I didn't think it really fit with the character, and she was a bit too much of a damsel in distress near the end.

Other than that, though, I thought it was a good bit of fun, and the chemistry between Holmes and Watson was just brilliant.

I don't know how well you know SG-1, but I wrote a very long story about Daniel and he has that bacteria. It might be an .... interesting read?

*hugs*

I really hope you feel better soon!

I do read SG-1 occassionally, but I admit to being more of Jack whumper than a Daniel whumper. Also, I think I will have to wait a bit to read the story, lol, as I am doing a remarkable job of scaring myself with all the what-ifs as it is. Thank you, though, and I will give it a read once we figure out what's going on and I'm not trying freaking myself out. :)
