Pet peeves

I'm bet you're all regretting I have a working computer now, aren't you?  :)  I'll try not to spam you so much after today, lol.

When I was driving to work today I was stuck behind three cars going about 10 under the speed limit.  I'm not a speed demon, but that drives me nuts! 

What are some of your pet peeves?  Little things that drive you nuts, or make you want to smack someone upside the head.  Like when someone takes the last of the kleenex but leaves the box.  Or the TP and leaves the roll without changing it.

I have two driving peeves: tailgaters, and people who think the double yellow line means "pass very fast". There are a lot of the latter here in OK.

Little peeves? People who will come up to check out their purchases while on the phone. Actually, people's personal calls in public places in general drive me nuts.

Though I do find it amusing when someone's in front of the milkcase, and they call their spouse/significant other/parent to ask "Which kind of milk?"

Oh, I hate people do the tailgate thing! It's like, get off my butt! I also hate people who pull right in front of you, especially when there isn't anyone behind you. I want to just - do something I shouldn't when they do that, lol.

And people who speak on the phone in stores are just rude. I used to hate it! Like, hello, you could at least acknowledge me!

Pet peeves I HAZ THEM!!!

- People leaving like a tablespoon of milk in the bag instead of just using the rest and changing the bag.

- Leaving just enough toilet paper on the roll to make it look like there's some left when really it's like three squares.

- Children that will.not.eat. *grrr*

- Parents that do not discipline their children and let them run wild. *stabs*

- Children that talk back.

- Basically, right now...CHILDREN! >.<

- Customer service that SUCKS! *stabs Bell Aliant*

- Websites that don't actually freaking work! *stabs Bell Aliant again*

- People posting stories without proper warnings!

- TV shows always trying to pair people off. Like there's no way in hell that a man and woman could work together WITHOUT fucking each other. *headdesk*

Okay, I have lots and lots and lots of pet peeves. ;) I'll stop now since I could go on FOREVER. :P

LOL! OMG, girl, you certainly do! Although I don't blame you for those!

I have to agree on the people posting stories without warnings. That drives me nuts. And don't get me started on TV shows!

Oooh, that drives me nuts, too. (But then I am a bit of a speed demon when the mood takes me, so...)

Putting the jar of sugar back in the cupboard empty. Because then I go shopping and I don't know that we need sugar, and come back to find that we don't have any, and have to go back out again to buy a bag of sugar D:<. It's not that the supermarket is particularly far away, it's that I like to be home for good when I get home.

LOL! Oh, I hate it when there's only that little bit of something in the sugar and you thought there was more. Of course, since I live alone, I have only myself to blame. :P
And I hate it when you have to make a return trip. I feel like the cashier is like, "Wait, didn't I just see you?"

My girlfriend is an ice fiend, every drink has to be full of cubes but she never refills the trays - SHE PUTS THEM BACK IN THE FREEZER EMPTY.

I wouldn't even care so much if they were left by the sink! Also, don't snark at *me* when you're out of ice, after, you know, putting them BACK IN THE FREEZER empty.

Oh, yes! That! That drives me nuts! My roommate in AZ used to do that! It's like, it's not that hard! If mine even get half empty I put water in them.

Living in apartments for 30 years, one of my major peeves is people who play loud music, or are loud in general, and don't care if their neighbors are bothered by it.

Definitely! I hate it when you have to be up early and your neighbors are blaring their music, or having a party, and you just want to bash your head against a wall to get some quiet.
