Hello, Sunday!

Hello, all!

Not much going on today.  My mom has a friend who is getting a new couch, so I am getting the old one, yay!  The couch I have now isn't bad, but it's about 4th generation hand me down, and the cushions are starting to show their stuffing.  So new furniture, yay! 

Also, I started a story last night, for the first time in a long time, and this gives me hope that I'll be able to finish Shirebound's story soon.  Sorry, hon, I'm working on it, I promise!!  I'm hoping that with the new writing my brain will be jump started and I'll be able to really get back in the flow.  

Only bad thing is physically this isn't a good weekend.  My stomach was really bothering me last night, and today I'm so dizzy I'm having to use my cane to keep from doing a face-plant.  My hands are really shaky, too, which I know is a side effect of my medicine.  I'm not doing too bad, overall, so I'm not complaining.  It's just kind of annoying that the cure has it's own drawbacks.  I want to be healthy, darn it!

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great day.  We had sunshine yesterday, but today we're back to the rain.  I'm so sick of rain right now.  I live in a desert for a reason!

Oh, I know that all too well. My meds deal with the symptoms, all right, but make me tired, dizzy, and lethargic. Sheesh.

Hope you feel better soon so you can enjoy your weekend...we've got sudden summer weather (from February weather to July in about forty-eight hours...) finally.

Oh, meds are such a pain! It gets rid of the pain, but I can do without the dizziness, sheesh!

I can't wait to get our summer weather! I love the heat, and it doesn't feel remotely like June should!

We had sun yesterday and back to rain today too! Much rain lately--I got a few minutes out in the sun yesterday thank heavens!

No, no, IM-ing was fine! It's just my meds playing hell with me. I live in WA, on the (supposedly) dry side, lol. Where do you live?

Oh, and I worked a little bit more on the story, but, strangely, work seems to have got in the way, lol. I'll definitely have more tonight!

And meds--how well I know about sometimes the "cure being worse than the disease"!

OMG!!! I'm in WA too!! The wet side!!! I Live in Everett now, but born and raised here in WA. Born in Yakima, lived in Wapato--moved to Bremerton, Then Bellingham, then Snohomish and now Everett!

OMG! You're just a few hours away from me! I live in Richland, in the Tri-Cities.

Oh, yeah, the cure is almost as bad as the sickness, sometimes. If I could afford it, I would be home curled up right now. As is, I'm just looking forward to going home and seeing my new couch!
