Pain and Torture
Jan. 10th, 2013 07:33 pmOr, in other words, physical therapy. I've started a series of three sessions tonight, in the hope that I can get my back to stop trying to hobble me. I would like to be able to stand up without wanting to rip my spine out, thanks.
The therapist I'm going to is the one I went to before, who helped me so much. He spent about an hour with me tonight, focusing heat on the worst pain, then gave me some exercises to do to strengthen my muscles. Then he used the electricity on my back, which felt very weird and completely different from when they used it on my knee. When I stood up, it still felt like the thing was attached, and I was literally stunned when it wasn't. I kept feeling my back, expecting it to have something on there.
Now I am home and about to take a bath, and then read for a while and bed. One more day until the weekend! I can make it!
