A decision made
Jun. 13th, 2013 07:14 pmI went to visit the house again. My agent had drawn up the papers, and I had managed to get the payments down to 770. But in the end, I just can't risk it. As much as I loved the house, I have to be realistic. My job is shitty, and I'm looking for a new one. But if anything should happen in between, and I lose my job before that, I have to be able to make the payments to the house, and it was too small for a roommate.
However, my mom, the agent, and I all agreed that we're not giving up hope. I'm going to be putting money aside for the closing cost, inspection and earnest money. That should total around 1300. I'm also going to be looking for a new job. In about 4 months, I'm going to try house hunting again, this time hopefully with the money in hand and a better paying job.
I'm actually relieved, as everything happened so quickly. Now I have a plan, and know what has to be done. The hard part is going to be finding a new job. Wish me luck!
