Yay!!!

The giant Sherlock Holmes story is finished!  I need to go back and edit the hell out of it and touch up the last bit, but the most of it is finished!  I found a beta, and just have to get in contact with her. As soon as I start beta-ing it I'll start posting.  OMG, it's  huge!  As it stand right now it's just over 85,000 words and 200 pages.  It will probably be a tiny bit longer when I get to fixing it up.  Whew!  I can't wait to start posting.  

I can't tell you how wonderful it feels to be writing again, and honestly, I think this is some of my best work.  I hope you guys will read it, if just because I think it's a pretty good story, lol.  

In other news, I saw Secretariat today.  I had no clue about the horse or anything, so I was holding my breath during the last race and cheered when he won.  Wow!  What an amazing tale!  

I think I'm off to bed now.  Have a good weekend everyone!

Thanks! I'm kind of amazed that it's done, and at the same time wishing it were still being worked on. Oh, well, I guess there's always sequels, lol.

Thanks! It's 09/canon. I think I started writing it about 7 months ago. Really, I think it's some of my best stuff, lol.

Oh good! *G* There's a much better chance of me reading knowing it's 09/canon rather than the BBC one, which I hate. :P So depending on the header, hopefully I'll have yours and enkiduts to read when I get laid off. :P Also, 85K! I'm just in AWE. *laughs* I can't even manage 500 words at this point. :P

LOL! I can't believe I wrote 85K! It is by far the longest thing I have ever written. I hope you do read it, as I had so much fun writing it. It does deal with PTSD, and there is some sex, well, OK, more than some, it wasn't my fault, they were out of control, I tell you! But as I'm a very vanilla person, it's nothing really out there, and I hope very loving and sweet. But I can understand if none of that would interest you. Anyway, it will give you something to read for a while, lol!

I'll check the header out when you post and if anything pings my squicks/triggers I'm afraid I won't read it - far too many bad experiences that have led to me being museless now (if I read something that squicks/triggers me, it unfortunately reflects on the characters and I can't seem to get past it *sigh* which is why John and Rodney have been so neglected for the past few years). But hopefully it won't and I can add it to my list of things to read when I am jobless. :P
