The first TEN people to comment, in this post or in future, get to request that I write a drabble of any pairing/character of their choosing.* In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their ability level.

comment hai. :)

Um, any chance you could do Lestrade/Gregson? If not Sherlock/Lestrade would be excellent.

It was a rare day that Sherlock Holmes did nothing but laze around in bed. Lestrade had witnessed the event perhaps three times in all the years he had known the younger man, but only recently was he allowed to watch to his heart's content.

"Stop it," Sherlock grumbled, burying his head deeper into his pillow. "I'm trying to sleep."

"I know," Greg sighed, his lips twitching in amusement as Sherlock gave up protesting and sunk back into sleep.

He pulled the blankets up around Sherlock's shoulders and settled himself against he headboard, book in hand.

Duvet days truly were the best.

It was pouring down rain when Watson managed to make his way into the smoke filled pub, the streets nothing but oily blackness behind him as he stepped through the door.

The pub was illuminated by several lamps and candles, filled with men relaxing with a pint before heading home or enjoying a game of cards. It was a popular pub, clean and companionable with a reputation for being without trouble.

Lestrade sat in a booth he had procured, and his motion was smooth and practiced as he signaled the doctor over.

There was a drink waiting for him, and Watson settled easily into the booth, where neither spoke for several minutes.

The chatter around them was a soothing counterpart to the rain which pounded against the walls and roof, but Watson found himself thinking longing of a warm fire and the smell of strong tobacco.

"To another year," Lestrade finally murmured, lifting his glass in memory.

Watson took a deep drink before he responded, swallowing several times around the lump in his throat.

"To another year," he agreed.

"Now, enough of that," Lestrade said harshly, setting his glass down forcefully. "You owe me a game, Doctor, and I mean to collect!"

Despite himself, Watson smiled.

LOTR! I really do want to see that bunny with Pippin as a Guardsman, proving his ability to a disbeliever! Or just anything with the hobbits in Minas Tirith. (You do that aspect of Pippin's life so well!)

I have to second that. Of all your work, my favorite is Guardsman Pippin, alternating between annoying Aragorn and saving the King's life.

It happened so fast that for long moments only stunned silence followed the young man hitting the ground.

The group of youths stared incredulously at Pippin as he sheathed his sword, grinning cheekily at the crowd which had gathered minutes before.

"And that," Pippin said, offering a hand to the boy still in the dirt, "is why it's not a good idea to have your feet placed like that. Any other questions?"

One of the group of troublemakers which had been driving the veteran guards to distraction raised his hand rather meekly.

"Can you show us that again?"

Pippin's smile grew.

Hi.

I love your style.

I dunno if I can still request something?

Maybe Watson being taken care of by Holmes?

I totally understand that sister friend.

My writing muse left me a while ago and Im desperately trying to get it back. That's why I've submerged myself in reading.

Take your time. There's no rush.
