piploverHello, all! I haven't seen this hour voluntarily in a long time, lol. But I went to bed at 9:30 last night, completely knackered, and slept almost straight through until 7. I feel so much better!
I think I may have caught something on the plane, because I've been coughing and my nose is stuffy. Icky people on planes! However, other than that, I feel great!
I am currently sitting here with a cup of Earl Grey and a plate of toast, one slice with butter and honey from England, and the other with Nutella. Hmmmm, Nutella. It's like being able to eat frosting for breakfast!
I have a dentist appointment today, and then back to work. Sigh. Oh, well. My vacation was wonderful while it lasted!
Also, before I head off to the dentist, I'm going to head over to the local college to look into some programs and perhaps talk to someone. Not sure if there will be anyone to talk to, as they may still be on break, but I can at least get a book with courses and look into what is offered.
I've made up my mind. I'm going back to school. I'm tired of feeling like my brain is turning to mush, and even though I have an AA and a BA, it doesn't seem to be doing me much good. So, I will look into what is on offer, and select something that I can apply once I get done, something that will allow me to work a "real" job. I'm tired of customer service, and I want to do something that is a career, not just a job.
And in the meantime, I'll continue to work for the big company, doing chats. It is nice, after all, to be able to pay the bills. Also, I already started my new England fund, lol, for going back maybe next year. If I'm lucky, I'll have 2 weeks vacation saved up.
Anyway, I just wanted you all to know that I'm doing well. I've finally figured some things out, and I'm happy. Wish me luck at work today, and I hope you all have a wonderful day as well!
