Stomach pain has come back. I wish to hell I knew what was wrong with me.  I was in sooo much pain on Monday I had to leave work early and just barely managed to curl up and cry for a few hours before falling asleep.  Then I was fine yesterday and Tuesday.  Today, though, it's come out of nowhere. I was feeling great earlier, and then wham!

Come on, body!  Just for fucking once give me a break!

Have you been checked for ovarian cysts? (Assuming that it isn't truly miserable gas pains, which have been known to leave me in tears.) Both things are possibilities.

*hugs* I hope you feel better soon. *offers warm blanky*

Yeah, I've been checked. They found nothing. I almost wish they had, because then I would at least know what is going on. Same with gas pains. It's not that. We thought at first it might be heartburn or gallbladder, but everything has tested negative, and no medicines have really touched it.

It's just damn frustrating not knowing what's wrong.

The first time I had an ovarian cyst the damn thing had worked its way out before I got the ultrasound. But I recognized the pain the second time (and that time they caught it in motion.) So it may still be a series of small cysts, not that that helps you much.

For me, aspirin (not tylenol!), something for gas, and external heat seem to be the most efficacious when my innards are being rotten. Took me a while to work it out though. And I have a friend who swears by a cup of hot water with nothing in it but hot water to sip at.

*hugs* Good luck.

*Hugs* Thanks, hon.

When the pain first started I was certain it was an ulcer, but nothing came back from any of the tests. They did find a benign cyst when they did the ultra sound, so I think that maybe you're right. The pain is in my stomach and chest, and it makes it hard to breath sometimes. It comes and goes seemingly at random, and knocks me on my ass.

I've found drinking tea usually helps, and sometimes, I have no idea why, popcorn. I do have a grain filled bag that I can pop in the microwave that also helps sometimes, but usually the only thing that really helps is curling up or laying flat and just breathing.

Bodies are so weird.

Bodies are indeed weird.

If tea helps, you might try chamomile tea. Tastes not so great, but it can settle my stomach sometimes. And is the popcorn salty?

(I'm really too sleepy to NOT be worrying at the problem, you know. But my intentions are well meant anyway. Goodnight and sleep well.)

I have chamomile, but I found that peppermint and earl grey seem to help the most. I'm weird, I know! And yes, the popcorn is salty.

For a bit we thought it might be migraines of the stomach, since my sister gets those, but taking one of my migraine pills didn't do anything, and I don't have all the systems. For the most part, it's been the doctor and I going, "Well, what about this? Let's test for this!"

He found it really interesting that when I have a migraine Chinese food and caffeine helps. With my sister, it's McDonald's french fries and caffeine.

Not sure what that says, lol.

Hope you can get some sleep!
