I woke up this morning feeling like crap, so I worked for about a half hour and then had to go lay down for an hour and a half.  After, I felt a bit better and was able to go back to work, but then I went to make breakfast.

And a bug crawled out from the burner. I don't even know what it was, but it was disgusting!  Ew ew ew ew ew!!

So, yeah, still not feeling very good.   Mostly a headache, but also aching all over and just general blurgh.  No fever, or other signs it might be a cold or something, I think it's just my body saying it's had enough.

Anyway, I'm hoping that going for a walk after work will help, and if not, I can always lay down when I come home.

How is everyone else doing?  Hopefully you all remain bug free!

Ew ew ew! :(

Pippin likes to snap at flies as they flit by, and chase down crickets, so she might be useful when it comes to bug-hunting.

It was a very ewww! moment! I'm very proud I didn't scream.

I'm so thankful for the cats. If I see them watching something on the floor, I know there's some type of bug that needs squashing!

So... did the bug suffer a heretic's fate? I would be torn between squishing it and tossing it back into the fiery depths from which it came.

Oh, it was squashed! It was squashed very thoroughly, and then the stovetop was scrubbed, lol.

*shudder*

Yeah, I felt like that yesterday, when my body was totally telling me to just curl up somewhere and none of my tech was working in my classroom. On the other hand, the only bugs I had there were two monarch butterfly chrysalids - the class is waiting excitedly for them to hatch out in a few days. They'll probably emerge in the middle of a lesson, as usual. :)
