It's a gorgeous day outside today, sunny with a gentle breeze and some wispy clouds.  Lovely.  I hope everyone else is having a lovely day.

I had my appointment with my doctor and started on some new meds.  They make me a little tired, but I've been on them before, and I know I'll feel better soon.  When asked about why I was needed them now, after being off them for over a year, she agreed completely that I need to get away from this job, lol.

I have an appointment with Worksource tomorrow to go over my resume once more for a federal job. I'm both hoping to get at least an interview and rather dreading it, as the job is a really good one, but it's an hour away.  So if, by some miracle, I did get the job, I would have to either commute an hour each way every day or move.   I'm... Well, not too thrilled about either.  But I'm putting the cart before the horse, as I haven't even turned in the resume yet. Wishful thinking, I guess.

Work has been... work.  I left 3 hours early yesterday, I felt pretty blech.  Not so much in pain as just tired and lethargic and my back was bothering me.  I couldn't concentrate on my customers or the work, so I called it quits.

I'm going to see Avengers tomorrow, again, with my brother and his fiance.  Yay!  Something to look forward to.   Also, sleeping in.  That will be nice.

Not much else going on.  I hope you all have a good day.

*Hugs*

You are doing fine-- less than two weeks left until the 20th! (((hugs))

Keep on keeping on-- at least you are not heading for Mt. Doom!

I so hope you get the job. Being a vet should help you with that. Commuting or moving might be a bummer, but federal jobs have pretty good benefits.

Thanks, hon! I'm hoping I can at least get an interview, but I'm nervous I don't have the exact skill set their looking for. Moving would be a bit of a bummer, but only because I don't want to be far from my family. I would be willing, though, if it meant a good, steady job that I liked.

Reviewing my financials, and the amount I'll get for my stocks, I'm really bummed that it looks like I'll have to wait until June now to quit. But I'm doing my best, so I'm trying to keep positive.

Work has been... work.

Yup, it's definitely time to look elsewhere. And... you made it to May! Not long now!

Yep, definitely looking! It's looking like it may be June now before I can quit, but that's still something to look forward to. Fingers crossed I can find something soon!

I'll think good thoughts, job-wise in your direction, then!

I'm seeing Avengers tomorrow, too...since I missed it this weekend when I was sick, I'll go when my husband and daughter are at their class at Temple tomorrow.

And that doctor sounds like one I had about 9 years ago - I came into the urgent care part of the hospital with a throat infection. He said it wasn't strep, gave me a list of things to do, and then found out I had a little kid and was a teacher, and said "I'll give you a note to stay home from school, 'cause you clearly need a break." :)

Thanks for the good job thoughts!

Did you like the Avengers? I loved it soooo much! I want to go see it again, which is kind of ridiculous since I've seen it 3 times already, but oh well.

That doctor sounds very practical, lol!
