Fire damage

This is a picture of the apartments that got damaged in the fire.  From the front, which faces my apartment set, there isn't any visable damage. So it was kind of shocking to see this.  One of the girls I work with lived above and to the right of the apartment where the fire started. Thank God she's all right, and she says that most of the damage is just water and smoke.  So, lots of cleanup, but at least she's all right. 

No real news on the person who was taken to hospital, except that they aren't doing too well. I didn't know them, but I hope they recover. 

I think I'm going to recheck all my fire alarms when I get home tonight. Just to be on the safe side.

Wow... scary stuff - Glad they were able to catch it as well as they did but just... yikes!

Yeah, it was pretty scary! The gal I work with was saying how she had been in the shower just 10 minutes earlier. If she had still been in there, she may not have made it out. Really glad only 1 person was hurt, because it could have been so much worse.
