Work ramblings

There has been a bit of a change at my work.  They're closing the chat department that I currently work in and are moving all of us to another one.  So I'll still be on chat, and with customer service will be similar, but different enough that I'm looking forward to the change.  Also, starting on Monday, my hours are changing, thank God. I'll be working from 7:30am to 7pm.  It's still a long ass day, but at least I'll be getting off early than 9:30.  I can live with that.  I still have the same days off, so it hasn't become worse. 

Even though I'm a bit excited for the new turn, I'm still looking elsewhere for jobs.  I just want out of customer service.  I sent in my application for one I'm really excited about. If I get selected for this, it would be amazing!  I would almost go so far as to say life changing.  I'm almost scared to get excited for it, because it's such an amazing job, and I'm qualified for it, but I don't want to get my hopes up. 

So, still looking, but am able to bear it a bit better, I think.  Wish me luck!  And any good thoughts and prayers you could send my way, I will really appreciate!

Glad about the change - at least I hope it will be better for you but here is luck with all the job hunting !

Thank you! I think it will be a lot easier, since the new department has some vastly different things than the one I'm currently working in. But still, I hope I get the new job.
