Missing my dearest

Sometimes it seems as though my heart will burst with not being able to be with my Fiance, Eladio, aka Lucky. Germany seems so very far away at time! So far he doesn't have a phone, so the only way we can communicate is by emails and written letters. I miss hearing his voice. It is especially hard when something like my foot happens. Good news is no surgury is required, and must limp along with the rest of the walking wounded.
Still dreading Thursday. As Pippin said in ROTK, and I am paraphrasing heavily here, I do not look want to fight a battle, but waiting on the eve of one is even worse.
Still hoping for a positive outlook and hoping cancer is gone. Happy thoughts, Happy thoughts, darnit!
Anyway, another story on the way, just tweaking it a bit. Probably will post it in a few days. Please let me know if you can think of any ways it can be improved or changed.

I understand how you feel. I happen to live in Germany too whereas my dearest friends all live in the States. The internet is a great thing but sometimes virtual hugs are good but a real one would be so much better. It must be even harder to be separated from the one you love. I hope you'll soon have the chance to live together !

Thank you! I hope to be able to see him agian soon, hopefully at the end of August or beggining of September, but it all depends on whether or not I get deployed. Sigh. I don't mind being in the Army, but is sure does no good for one's love life. Just two years and then I am out and hopefully on my way to the chapel!
