I only have 3 working days after today!  Whoohoo!  They put us on phones today, but it didn't bother me, probably for the first time in a long time.  I think the fact I know I'm getting out of here is having a calming influence on me.  I wasn't even really bothered when I discovered someone stole my sandwich at lunch.

I mean, I was annoyed, and I'm hungry now, because dangit, that was en epic sandwich I made, but I'm not frothing at the mouth. Mostly I'm counting down until my last break, when I'll have my salad for dinner.  I think I'm honestly more confused. I mean, why would someone do that?  Who goes into someone's lunch bag and steals their sandwich?  And it's a bright pink with polka dots bag, so it's really not able to be mistaken for another bag.

Oh, well.

I have salad in an hour, and then I get to go home and put in a movie and chill.  Tonight is going to be a good night!

I'm always so puzzled when food is stolen at work. How can someone eat a stolen sandwich with a peaceful heart? Amazing.

I hope you have a wonderful night.

It just boggled my mind. I mean, I wouldn't be able to do it, because I would be worried the person who owned the food would wander by while I was going through their stuff.

That always leaves me bumfuzzled as well! I remember once years ago when I worked at Michael's grabbing what I thought was my lunch container and nuking it in the break room microwave, only to discover to my embarrassment that it wasn't mine. I stuck it back in the fridge and found mine. The containers were almost identical, so it was a natural mistake, but I would never actually EAT it!

*shakes head*

I totally could have understood if the person had accidentally got into my bag, but it was a bright pink and polka dot bag, unlike any others. So it just boggles my mind that someone very purposefully went through my bag looking for food.

I don't know, I guess I was just raised better, lol.

Me too. And quite aside from the issues of thievery and rudeness, there's also hygiene! I mean, you have no idea if the person who made the sandwich even washed their hands, or whether or not the meat or whatever inside was kept in sanitary conditions! It's just eeewww...

And yeah--unlikely that there was another bright pink polka dot lunch bag in there--if there was, you'd have seen it, right?
